The EYEfi Public Safety Solution (PSC) provides a very flexible monitoring solution by utilising a pre-built and pre-configured camera unit that easily attaches to a power or street lighting pole, requiring only power delivered via mains or using our solar panel solution. As with most EYEfi products, network connectivity is via NextG and the units automatically connect into the EYEfi Cloud solution where the cameras and associated footage can be easily monitored and reviewed by Police.

Each EYEfi installation utilises EYEfi's ultra low-latency NextG™ Remote Gateway Device (RGD) which manages the site equipment and network connectivity. The RGD exchanges real-time spatial video and telemetry information between the remote sites and the core EYEfi® host application in Telstra’s carrier-grade Internet Data Centre facility.
The EYEfi RGD has been developed to minimise latency and maximise performance making it ideal for demanding video applications. As a result, the responsiveness of EYEfi cameras and field devices connected to 3G networks is second-to-none.

The EYEfi Navigator software is a familiar and simple to use web browser tool, designed to assist fire tower operators, incident management centres, command and control, in-vehicle response teams and remote or mobile users. Any number of operators can establish a fire’s location using a single camera, within seconds.
An "alarm system for the nation", EYEfi® SPARC also utilises EYEfi's proprietary very early assessment (VEA) capability; enabling the system to automatically monitor and react to environmental triggers and then autonomously notify users via the software, sms or email. This capability strengthens early warning systems and allows authorities to communicate accurate and timely information to areas of the community most likely to be affected by a fire or other incidents.

The Smart Hub web based application is the centre for your decision making, route creation and analysis.
The platform provided by EYEfi, as a cloud service, maintains comprehensive information on all containers being managed: their type, function, capacity, status, location and a history of events.
This information is stored in the cloud and is automatically updated as the Smart Sensors report changes to their status. The Smart Hub management application can generate alerts if, for example, a bin is full, a fire is detected or a bin is overturned.
Bin monitoring frequency, temperature alarm thresholds, position update checks on mobile bins are all user configurable by simply logging in to Smart Hub on your PC, Smartphone or tablet.
The Smart Collect Smartphone app is used by collections vehicle operators to receive jobsassigned from Smart Hub. Information on suggested routes and estimated job duration are supplied. While completing jobs, the driver has the ability to report back to headquarters. If for any reason a bin has a problem, Smart Collect users can notify the Smart Hub supplying photographs and notes allowing the operations manager to determine what action to take.
